Mike and Daisy's Farm
I always treasure my memories visiting the farm .. Everyone was always so happy to see one another..II loved spending time with all my cousins there .We loved all the farm animals except the geese.. The geese scared me to death as they always chased me . Aunt Daisy would always have to come rescue us. We loved spending time in the lovely huge garden..Aunt Daisy made the most amazing meals ... I remember yummy sauerkraut soup, served with delicious homemade bread ... It was the best...We then had raspberries and cream ... Yummy We could always go pick whatever we wanted in her garden ...Did I forget to mention that Aunt Daisy made the best dill pickles in the world . Unfortunately I have not been able to visit as much as I had moved to the USA 25 years ago .. I missed so many Sawka occasions that I deeply regret. I miss seeing all my cousins ,and aunts and sorry I did not get to know the extended family .. Wayne , Donna and my mom Mary Sawka visited Daisy 3 months ago . She was so thrilled about our visit . She could not believe we were there to visit her .. She was so delighted to see us . She looked so good . Her beautiful blue eyes just sparkled.. I thank God and treasure these wonderful memories . May Aunt Daisy rest in peace knowing she was loved by all .... Niece. JoAnn Koffski
