Obituary for Daisy Sawka (Dulyk)
Yawdocha (Daisy) Sawka (nee Dulyk) was born October 1st, 1913 in Hazel Dell, Saskatchewan to parents Wasyl and Barabara Dulyk.
Daisy completed her grade eight in Hazel Dell, before leaving school to help on the family farm.
Daisy married Mike Sawka on November 17, 1934. The couple were blessed with two children Bill and Annette.
Daisy spent her life working hard on the farm, alongside Mike and would always milk the cows and tend to the children.
In her free time, Daisy enjoyed cooking, fishing, embroidery and knitting. She loved spending time in her garden.
Daisy was predeceased by her Husband Mike; Son Bill; Siblings: Mary, Irene, Polly and Dick; Sisters-in-law Mary and Nellie; and Brother-in-law Joe.
Left to cherish her memory is her Daughter Annette (Walter); Daughter-in-law Pat (Jim); Grandchildren: Shelly (Darci), Kelly (Terry), Luchana and Curtis (Joanne); Great Grandchildren: Mallory (Mike), Tanner, Kassandra (Darren), Oran, Kael, Kody and Kelsea; Great-Great Grandchildren: Alexa, Emma, Addison and William.
