In 1971, Bill married Lynda and after a couple of years of traveling around the world they settled in Hudson Bay, SK, and made that their home for 29 years. Bill worked for the Provincial Government as a Fire Fighter Crew Foreman for a number of years before being employed by the Town of Hudson Bay. He retired from the position of Town Foreman in 2001. In 2002, Lynda retired from her teaching position at H.B.C.H. School. During the time in Hudson Bay, Bill coached Minor Ball and Minor Hockey. He was a Volunteer Fireman and a member of the Lions Club. In 2002, Lynda and Bill took up residence in their retirement home at Greenwater Lake Provincial Park. At present Bill is a member of the Parkland Coop Board of Directors in Porcupine Plain. He is also certified as a First Responder for the Greenwater Lake Provincial Park area. Bill began working with Blair's Funeral Home Ltd., in January, 2003. He enjoys working with Blair's because of the professional service they provide, the attention to detail, and the way they ensure that the "little things" are done right. |

Jim started helping Gordon Blair at the funeral home in 1987, and has continued to work with Blair's Funeral Home Ltd. since that time. Jim has been involved in numerous community boards, and was an active member of the Past Porcupine Plain Lions Club. He is an active member of the Bethany Good Shepherd Anglican United Church. Jim enjoys curling, golfing, and traveling. Jim's career has always dealt with the public and he enjoys working on funerals and assisting families in their times of need. |

Marvin is involved with the Knights of Columbus and has held various executive positions, he is the past president of the Ukrainian Catholic Church Parish, and has been a Hudson Bay Housing Board member for many years.
