Obituary for Kenneth Stanley Goy

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth Stanley Goy on November 21, 2021.

Ken was born May 19, 1944 at the Carragana Outpost in Saskatchewan, to Harry and Estella Goy. He was the third oldest of six children. Ken grew up on the farm in the Blighty School District. Ken had many challenges in life because he was a blue baby at birth. Ken spent most of his early life on the family farm helping with the farm work. He also worked for Local farmers around the Blighthy District. Later he worked for his brothers and other contractors in the bush doing logging. Ken moved with his parents, when they retired to Porcupine Plain, he worked at the Co-op and then worked at the Porcupine Opportunities. He also worked for some local farmers. After his parents passed, Ken moved into #17 Pioneer Court where he lived until his passing.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Harry and Estella Goy; by his siblings: Melvin Goy, Mervin Goy, Muriel Chaszewski and Vera Deforest.

Ken is survived by his brother Bryan (Lois) Goy of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Family would like to thank the home care staff in Porcupine Plain for their kind and professional care of Ken over the years.

Those so wishing may make memorial doantions in memory of Ken to the Porcupine - Carragana Hospital.
