Lois Fern Bourgonje (Cragg)
Lois Fern Bourgonje (nee Cragg) was born July 27th, 1939, in Nelson British Columbia to parents Marian and Thomas Cragg. Lois grew up in Arborfield, Saskatchewan, where she attended school at the Pembina School and Arborfield School.
Lois met Looi Bourgonje, and the couple married May 3rd, 1961. Lois and Looi were blessed with four children: Fred, Tom, Terry and Robin.
Lois worked at the Dudar Clothing Store for 2 years in Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan, before becoming a stay at home Mother of four. Lois was a member of numerous organizations in the Porcupine Plain community such as: The Community of Christ Church, The Co-op Guild, and The Sunset Club.
Over the years, Lois enjoyed spending her time: curling, softball, hockey, gardening, knitting and playing cards.
Lois is predeceased by her parents Marian and Thomas Cragg; Brothers-in-law Jack Bourgonje, Alfred Kapeller, and Ken Schulties; Sisters-in-law Mabel Cragg and Sheila Bourgonje; In-laws Fred and Annie Bourgonje.
Left to cherish Lois’ memory is her husband Looi Bourgonje; sons: Tom (Rhonda) Bourgonje, Fred (Rita) Bourgonje, Terry (Linda) Bourgonje, and Robin (Jodie) Bourgonje; nine grandchildren: Brittany (Ben Cairns), Jordan, Bryanne, Jarrett, Brenon, Tyson, Chelsey, Richelle, Sydney; three great-grandchildren: Brady, Wes, and Avery; brothers: Dennis Cragg, Terry (Doreen) Cragg, and Glenn Cragg; sisters: Gwen Howett, Joan Kapeller, Pat Cragg, and Sharon Schulties.
