Grandpa Ron
From the time all of my children were born they new of this gentle giant as Grandpa Ron. Just as it says in his obituary of how he took Alan and Terry into his life when they were young, he did the same for me and my children, especially Candice. She spent so much time with Grandma Dot and Grandpa Ron. She was very small when we moved to Northern Manitoba. So small, that she didn't really understand how her Grandma lived in two places. ( she couldn't differentiate between my mom and Dot), thus them both being Grandma and subsequently Uncle Ron becoming Grandpa. And boy did they spoil her just as grandparents will. He was such a huge part of our lives and is truly missed.
