The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lydia Poniatowski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Nadia Yarie
Condolence: We are so very sorry for the loss of Your Dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother. We both attended K.C.I. and graduated together in 1963.
Recently we met at Stella Boyko's 100th Birthday Celebration. We had a wonderful visit "Catching Up".
Lydia was a kind and conscientious lady. Crocheting all those toques for those "less fortunate"speaks to the kind of person she was!
She will be sorely missed!
Rest In Peace Dear Lydia!
Most sincerely,
Nadia and Clint Yarie
Madge Lake.

Condolence From: Brian Foster (& Family)
Condolence: Lydia never believed that “a person can only do as much as a person can do”.
She was a master delegator and, with the help of her army of volunteers, was able to do much, much more for our community than any one person could ever dream to do.
Her legacies in Porcupine Plain will live on far into the future.
You will be missed, Lydia!

Condolence: To the Poniatowski family - Mrs, Poniatowski was the one who helped foster my love for books and libraries. She gave me suggestions for books that I would find interesting, saved me new books that came in that she knew I would like and later let me help in the library. Because of her, the library became interesting and a haven. She was a truly loving person and I am so sorry for your loss. I celebrate the life of Mrs. P and am mourning her with you in this trying time.
