Obituary for
Linda Lou Brysh (Anderson)
Linda Lou Brysh was born on January 2, 1947 as the fourth and youngest child of Carter Anderson and Anne Shpak in Erwood, SK. Linda was a tomboy growing up; she loved to play sports with the other children.
Linda married young, had three children, Blaine, Barbara, and Alanda, and by 25 years of age ended up moving back to Erwood to live with her parents.
The story goes that a man by the name of Stan Hall would visit Carter and Anne in Erwood. He commented on how he liked the picture of their daughter hanging on the wall. Then in 1975 he got to meet Linda at her parents' home. They quickly fell in love and in 1976 she moved in with him.
At first, they lived in a house made of chip board, but then Stan bought a trailer for Linda on Mothers' Day. They worked together on the farm for 32 years, raising Linda's three children along the way. She helped with all the work that needed to be done on the farm. She raised various animals such as chickens, turkeys and pigs, she grew vegetables on the farm, all to feed her family. She helped bring in the crops by driving a combine or a grain truck. In 2008 Stan and Linda moved to Crooked River, SK to retire.
In 2014, Linda became ill with dementia. At first, it was tremors of her arms and legs. Later, the disease progressed to the point where she couldn't take care of herself. In 2015, Stan passed away from complications due to the chemotherapy therapy he was undergoing.
Linda always had a sense of humor. She loved to make others laugh and laugh herself. She was also a compassionate woman who would go out of her way to help her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her children, Blaine Brysh (Elizabeth), Barbara Carritt (Vince), Alanda Pounder, and six grandchildren.
