Alex Campeau was born September 22nd, 1935 to parents Jack Campeau and Mary Kinniwes. Alex grew up in the bush North of Prairie River, before making his home in Porcupine Plain where he spent his life.
Alex met Katie Tony, and together they had three children: Mervin, Judy and Joe. Alex worked various jobs in the bush through out his life, helping in Logging Camps. In his later years, he turned to trapping as a form of income.
Alex was predeceased by his father Jack; mother Mary; son Mervin; and daughter Judy.
He is survived by his son Joe Tony; his grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
