Obituary for Gary Montana Lawrence

Gary Lawrence was born in 1931 in Toronto, Ontario and moved to Reserve, SK permanently in 1939. At a tender age, he began working for The Pas Lumber Company before marrying his sweetheart, Vera Rosenfeldt in 1955. Together they raised 3 children (Dwane, Brenda and Cecil) who later blessed them with 6 grandchildren.
In 1971 he began working for the Simpson Timber Company, later relocating his family in 1973 before the mill shut down in 1990, thus encouraging him to retire. He continued to reside in Hudson Bay until his death on January 20th, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Vera, his 3 children and his 6 grandchildren.
Gary Lawrence lived his days with integrity, modesty, compassion, and a steadfast faith, making him a role model as a family man, with his gentleness and unyielding faith, his is a most potent legacy etched on the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
