Lloyd Norman Ruether was born on August 22, 1963 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. He was the sixth child born to Melvin and Velda Ruether.
Lloyd was raised on the family farm in the Bjorkdale District. He took his schooling in Bjorkdale, Saskatchewan. Lloyd spent his working career beginning employment with the Village of Bjorkdale and then spent many years working with the Porcupine Opportunities Program.
Lloyd loved music, especially playing the drums and spoons. He found great pleasure being in the outdoors and loved to snowmobile and quad.
Lloyd was predeceased by his father Melvin in 1987; his mother Velda in March 2012; his brothers: Val in 1981 and Dwayne in 2011; and his sister Starlet in June 2012.
He is survived and will be greatly missed by his sister Arlene (Jack) Jackson; and his brother Kelvin (Meta) Ruether; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, relatives and many, many friends.
