Obituary for Margaret Carol Relitz

Margaret Carol Relitz was born April 10th, 1941 in Kinistino, Saskatchewan. She was the oldest of nine children born to Velma and Leslie Relitz. The family moved to Weekes area in 1952, and she attended the Dunwell School.
Margaret married John Fullerton in 1958, and they were blessed with four children: Rodney, Trudi, Ian, and Neil. She worked hard on the family farm, and in 1977 she added to her work load by beginning a 30 year career at SaskPly. In all her years of hard work she always had time for her family. She was always willing to learn a new skill, like skinning beavers with her boys and teaching the girls how to cook; she shared her skills.
Margaret moved to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan in 1996. There she met Terry Ollenberg. They married on October 27th, 2001. Through their years together, they shared many adventures. Whether the wind took them to Culdesac, Germany, Mazatlan, or just down the road for a drive, they made a lot of great memories. Margaret and Terry were very involved in their church. Margaret held dear her relationship with Jesus Christ.
In her early years, Margaret spent her time curling in the winter, and watching / attending ball tournaments in the summer. She always enjoyed playing cards (sometimes into all hours of the night). In her later years, she enjoyed going fishing, watching the Blue Jays and curling on TV. Above all, Margaret loved being with her family. Anytime of the year, any day of the week she could be found going all over the province to watch her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in their different sporting events and activities. A big highlight in Margaret's life, was hosting and attending family Christmas’ and the Relitz family reunions every August long weekend.
Margaret was diagnosed with Parkinson's in her mid 50s, which did not slow her down a bit. Unfortunately she was just recently diagnosed with cancer, and passed away too soon. She will be remembered for her hard work, fashion sense, beautiful smile, and warm caring heart.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Velma Relitz; infant son Ian; and mother-in-law Wilna Ollenberg.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Terry Ollenberg; children: Rodney (Debbie) Fullerton, Trudi (Darryl) Binkley, and Neil (Jen) Fullerton; Terry's children: Sandra Macevoy, Ole (Cheri) Shoemaker, Leanne Shoemaker, and Vernon Shoemaker; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Sandra (Orest) Kwiatkowski, Brenda (Bob) Thompson, Joanne (George) Gustafson, Karen (Neil) Rupchan; brothers: Kenneth (Ardis) Relitz, Jim (Jean) Relitz, Karl (Corina) Relitz, and Barry Relitz; along with numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
