Obituary for Shirley Jane Lasko (Iverson)
Shirley Jane Lasko (nee Iverson) was born July 3rd, 1946 in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan to parents Percy and Isabelle Iverson. She grew up and received her education in Prairie River, Saskatchewan.
Shirley married Joe Lasko on October 30th, 1965. The couple lived in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan until 1968, then moved back to the farm in Prairie River. They were blessed with four children: Dean, Laura, Jeff, and Judy. She loved being a full time mother and farm wife to her family.
In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed gardening, picking berries and mushrooms, reading, doing puzzles, puzzle books and crafts of all kinds.
Shirley is predeceased by her Husband Joseph Lasko; Infant twin sons Lorne and Lyle; Parents Percy and Isabelle; Infant Brother Wayne; Sisters: Frances, Elaine, Eunice, and Iris; In-laws Alexander and Martha Lasko; along with numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
Left to cherish her memory is her Son Dean (Connie) Lasko, and their family Larissa (Dave) and Cassandra (John); Daughter Laura (Merle) Furi, and their family Jimme Dean, Alexander and Joshua; Son Jeff and his son Jacob; Daughter Judy (Kurt) Boehm; Sisters-in-law Ethel and Vera; Brothers-in-law: Martin, Stan, and Eric; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
