Obituary for Reed Patrick Lee Bratton
On January 9th, 2013 a beautiful baby boy joined the Bratton family. Reed Patrick Lee Bratton arrived, special delivery with a ‘fragile - handle with care request.’ Reed was anything but fragile - he was the strongest little fighter, “Our Superman.” Reed came home to Porcupine in March, and was greeted by the strength and support of the entire community. His family was happy to have him home, and so began his greatest adventure - the one of being a little brother to Blake, Danika and Logan.
In two and a half years this little angel taught us the meaning of strength and courage. Reed brought us tenderness and patience. His journey brought family and community just a little closer. As Auntie Shelly says he was, “a special little dude with that extra little sparkle in his eyes.” His special little grin showed his zest for life, as well as just a little mischief. Reed was a very special gift, and his little life made a huge impact on so many people in so many ways.
Reed and his family were able to give back to Telemiracle - yearly the family held a I "Heart" You Raffle to show their support and thanks for helping them in their time of need.
Reed holds a very special place in everyone's heart and will be forever remembered and loved by his Mommy and Daddy; his brothers and sister; Grandmas and Grandpas; Aunties and Uncles; and all of his many Cousins. His short time here will be treasured by all who were given a chance to share in his journey.
