Obituary for Robert James Norton
Robert James Norton was born on July 19, 1946 in Regina, Saskatchewan. From birth Robert was placed in an orphanage, and on April 2, 1952 at the age of five years he moved to his lifetime foster home with Irma Henry and Terry Gabriel’s family farm.
Robert received his education in Porcupine Plain. After graduation he went on to STI in Moose Jaw where he received his business administration certificate. After receiving this certification Robert then worked for the Town of Dinsmore as an Administrator. Due to health reasons with his eyesight Robert had to retire from this position. It was then that Robert went on to work at Sask Forest Products plywood mill in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.
Robert was bless with one child from his marriage, a daughter Tammy born in 1973.
Robert had a very strong faith, and he enjoyed his reading, writing and singing.
Robert is survived by his daughter Tammy Beaubien and son-in-law Robert, his grandson Derek, his granddaughter Nikki, and his twin granddaughters Jessica and Kayley.
