Elsie Annie Holinaty (Cunyk) was born December 1st, 1930 in Hudson Bay Junction, SK to parents Paul and Cassie Chunyk.
Elsie, looked after foster children from 1956 - 1990, and also cared for seniors from 1985 - 2010. She loved her bingo, cards and listening to Ukraine music.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband John Holinaty; daughter Bettyann; parents Paul and Cassie Chunyk; Sisters: Rosie Rumak, Nellie Physk, and Jennie Rumak; brothers: Edie Chunyk, Tony Chunyk, and Mike Cuinyk.
Elsie is survived by her children: Vie (Earl) Haugerud of Wadena, SK, Eugen (Barb) Holinaty of Hudson Bay, SK, Delores (Brian) Meyers of Kenosee, SK, and Patsy (Gordie) Dennis of Hudson Bay, SK; sisters Ethel Slafrick of Yorkton, SK, and Lucy Glenna of Thunder Bay, ON; twelve grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
