Obituary for Stanley William Henry Hall

Stanley William Henry Hall was the firstborn child of Stanley Fenton Hall and France's Edna May Barnett, in Craik SK, on March 18, 1936.
From a young age, Stan took to farming and cattle and knew it would be the path for him.
In 1961, he moved with his then wife Ida to Hudson Bay, SK and had two daughters Dorthy and Barbara.
Stan worked at the Simpson Timber Mill, and started to farm both grain and cattle, beginning to fulfill his deep love of farming.
In 1975, Stan met Linda Brysh, and became “Dad,” to three step children Blaine, Barbara and Alanda.
Stan spent the rest of his life doing what he had always loved - farming!!! Stan worked from sunrise to sunset, and even his pass time was checking not just his crops but everyone else's too!!! Even after he sold the farm to his nephew Glen, he continued to go out and help wherever possible.
He was a quiet man, who loved the simple things in life. He was content with what was right in front of him.
Stan also loved animals, and always had a dog for a pet, and constant companion. He had many throughout his life, and he treated them all like family!!!
His favourite time of the year was harvest - to him there was nothing better than reaping the months of labour from the earth he so loved!!
In 2002, Stan was diagnosed with Multiple Myloma, and entered a battle for his life. After surgery, and chemotherapy, he defied the odds by having the cancer go into remission, until recently and started undergoing treatments once again. Through all of the journey Stan remained positive, and determined to enjoy the simple pleasures of life - like a quad ride to check on the fields with his dog!!!
Stan loved three things - his family, farming, and his pets!!
He is survived by the love of his life Linda; three siblings Johnny Hall (Lorraine), Beasle Hall (Beth), and Gladys Gartner (Roger); five children: Dorthy Poder (Gary), Barbara Fiel (Merlin), Blaine Brysh (Elizabeth), Barbara Carritt (Vince), and Alanda Ashdown (Frank); Eight grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, and a Maltese Bejing (Sascee)
