Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mina Bilawchuk can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Mina Caroline Bilawchuk (Lund)

Mina Caroline Bilawchuk was born to Ole and Margaret Lund Jan 10, 1934 in the Hill Peak School District, 7 miles north east of Kelvington, Saskatchewan on the family farm. Mid wives where her Aunt Clara Kjelgren and neighbour lady Ellen Dahl. She was raised in the Kelvington area and attended the Hill Peak country school.
Mina married Kazmer Greck in 1952 at the Pentecostal Church in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. She was pre-deceased by her husband Kazmer, and in 1968 she married Ernest Bilawchuk of Archerwill.
In 1971 Mina and Ernie moved to the family farm, and Mina started working for the Archerwill Coop in 1974. Mina worked at the Archerwill Coop for 13 ½ years. In addition to working for the Coop, Mina enjoyed working on their farm, along with her gardening, and for many years, she operated a greenhouse and sold bedding plants. She also enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as fishing and hunting.
Mina was pre-deceased by her husband Ernest Bilawchuk and son Cory Bilawchuk. She leaves to mourn her passing her sister Lorna Press of Porcupine Plain. Her two sons Burc (Jollean) Greack and Terry (Irene) Greck of Saskatoon. Her granddaughter Bharbara (Ted) Melanson and great grandson Chase of Calgary, and her grandson Harreson (Jan) King and great grandsons Cade and William of Saskatoon, grandson Garrett (Nicole) Greack and great granddaughter Taylor and great grandson Ethan of Martensville, and grandson Brandon (Michelle) Greack of Saskatoon along with many nieces and nephews.
