 Sarah was born on February 22, 1962 in Rose Valley, SK to Georgina Lee. Sarah was raised by her Maternal Grand Parents Florence and George Lee. Florence and George were known to Sarah as Mom and Dad, and from this family she grew up with brothers: Larry and Gordon, and sisters: Arlene, Alice and Ethel.
Sarah attended School in a few surrounding communities until her family moved to Tisdale in 1972. She graduated grade 12 in 1980 and went on to further her education in the Health Field. Sarah loved cooking so she also enrolled in culinary classes and worked as a Chef for a short period of time. In 1988 at the age of 26 Sarah's life long career began when she enrolled in the Saskatchewan Urban Native Teachers Education Program with the Gabriel Dumont Institute in Prince Albert. Sarah graduated from the 4 year Program with Great Distinction in 1992.
Sarah Immediately went to work in Wollaston Lake from 1992 to 2010. She first taught elementary school and for several years was the School Principal. In 2011 Sarah Moved to Sandy Bay where she worked until her passing .
Sarah never married, but she had many children that she loved and who loved her back. She loved the students that she worked with, and dearly loved her Nieces and Nephews, her Great Niece and Great Nephews.
Sarah was predeceased by her brother Gordon in 1976, her Father George in 1982, and her Mother Florence in 2007.
 Sarah will be sadly missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews and Birth Mother Georgina Nelson; Larry Lee (Mary) Russel; Gordon Lee (Deceased) (Rose) Sharon, Michael; Arlene Sturgeon (Jim) Jessica, Danine; Alice McCall (Colin) Amy, Amber, Cailean; Ethel Lee-Colby (Glen) Terrance, Crystal, Trevor; Great Niece: Angelina; and Great Nephews: Dustin, Keegan, Ashton, Tyler, David, Logan, Dylan.
