Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth Binkley (Parkman)

Peggy Binkley (nee Parkman) was born on February 16, 1932 on the farm in the Etomami District to parents Fairy & William Parkman. Peggy grew up in the Etomami District and received her education in the Moosehaven and Aspen Schools.
Peggy married Mervyn Cecil Binkley on July 9, 1952. To this union 7 children were born: Terry, Ellen, Rick, Bill, Fairy, Judy, and Lowine. In Peggy’s younger days she worked in the Etomami Country Store & Post Office and after marriage she continued on as a homemaker and working alongside of Mervyn on the farm.
Peggy liked being active, she had a love for dancing, gardening, curling, bowling, sewing, knitting, playing music, cards & puzzles and all sports. Peggy was a member of the Hudson Bay Bowling Club and the Hudson Bay Curling Club. She also spent time volunteering with the United Church and Donor’s Choice.
Peggy was predeceased by her Son Terry Bradford; Parents Fairy & William Parkman; Grandson Ronald Dzikowski; Mother & Father-in-law Llowyn & Philip Binkley; Brothers: Jack, Don, Dyck, and Gerry; and Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Ruth, Cecil, Alice, Marj, Chess, Eileen, Henry, Selma, Lett, Elva, Jean, Linda, Lorne, Harold, Elgar, Francis, Elmer, Robert, and Jack.
She is survived by her Husband Mervyn; 6 Children: Ellen (Jess) Dzikowski, Rick (Mary) Binkley, Bill (Connie) Binkley, Fairy (Mike) Lemishka, Judy (Ken) Cleaveley, and Lowine Binkley; 15 Grandchildren: Paul, Evan, Clayton, Chelsye, Shawna, Jess, Philip, Brandi, Marshall, Andrew, Jarvis, Aspen, Miranda, Letitia, and James; 8 Great-Grandchildren: Rebecca, Dakota, Alexis, Arianna, Nathan, Carsin, Tyrel, and Mahayla; Sisters: Evelyn, and Isobel; Sisters-in-law: Grace, Toni, Louella, Mona, Dorothy, and Drene; Brothers-in-law: Alf, Russel, Alan, and Norman; and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.
