Obituary for Shirley Margaret Noer (Smith)

Shirley Margaret Noer was born on January 14, 1948 to parents Leslie and Mildred Smith. Shirley grew up on a farm north of Carragana. She started her education at Pleasant Corner School, continued at Carragana, and then finished at Porcupine Plain School.
Shirley married Arnold Noer October 20th 1965 and settled in Porcupine Plain. Arnold was a truck driver and
Shirley worked various jobs throughout her early years some such as a housekeeper, Carragana garage, the old Sears, the local drugstore, hardware store, and a switch board operator. Then lastly as a Homecare Worker for Kelsey Trail for 30 plus years. She finally found her passion, she loved her job and the clients!
Shirley and Arnold finally had their first and only child in 1977, Dennis Arthur Leslie Noer. He was the light of her life and from that day forward there was never another dull moment in their lives!
Shirley was a dedicated wife, mother, and a loving devoted daughter who spent many hours caring for her family. She enjoyed all her nieces and nephews and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.
Shirley enjoyed sewing, crocheting, drawing, and taking pictures of everything and everybody. She loved her coffee especially in company of a dear friend and those where plentiful!
Shirley was predeceased by her Brother Calvin Smith, her Father Leslie Smith, and Sister-in-law Starlet (Ruther) Smith.
Shirley is survived by her ex-husband Arnold Noer, son Dennis (Elaine) Noer, two grandchildren Garrett and
Regan, Mother Mildred Smith, her siblings Barrie (Susan) Smith, Beverly (Darwin) Pegg, Rose Smith, Ronney Smith and abundance of relatives and friends.
